Urban community

An urban community is understood as that conglomerate of people established in a geographic area or territory called a city. This phenomenon is also known as “urban society”. It is described as the emigration of a certain number of people from the countryside to the city.   • They have large and diverse architectures, such as buildings, houses, residential complexes, factories, among others.

  • The larger they are, the more complex they become because they have very large spaces to live, work, have fun or provide.
  • They have groups from different cultures or societies.
  • They have better organization.
  • They have more forms of self-government such as neighborhood associations, student federations, neighborhood councils, condominium boards, among others.

The acquisition of knowledge, work experience and social relationships are some of the benefits of urban communities, however, there are some disadvantages or problems that arise in these areas, including:
