An individual who performs a job and is awarded a salary for carrying out said activity is classified as salaried; the salary or salary is nothing more than the sum of money or the remuneration that the worker is willing to receive for the development within the job he receives, another characteristic of an employee is that he receives the amount determined as the minimum wage. The minimum wage is nothing more than the smallest amount of money that must be given to a worker for his work within a company; In this way, the salaried worker puts all his effort to perform a job for which he is paid an amount registered in his contract, fulfilling a monthly payment period.

Thus, the opposite of an employee is that worker who receives money detached from a company, that is, an independent worker who does not have an insured monthly amount and who will receive the sum of money that he imposes for carrying out his work, in the case of: electricians, carpenters, taxi drivers and other people who offer a service under the payment conditions that they impose.

The relations of the employer and the employee must be governed by the criteria of national law, all these conditions are reflected by a contract that will be the document that guarantees the responsibilities that the worker has within the company as well as the benefits offered for doing his work, in some clandestine companies the signing of this crucial document is not elaborated, therefore the worker offers his services without protection or guarantee of his payment.

The amount of the salary is influenced by different conditions, but the most important is supply and demand within the workplace; the pertinent leaders of each region have the obligation to determine the minimum sum over the salary that a worker must have, as previously mentioned. The company that cancels a salary below this amount is penalized by law and may even be closed as a punishment; the type of system that applies the hiring of salaried personnel is the capitalist model.
