Anger is a state in which a person experiences anger in a violent way. In the same way, it is about those angers that are of great proportions, and that are often expressed with violence. In a broader sense, anger can indicate the state in which an individual is likely to go through episodes of anger. As such, anger or fury is an emotion that is outlined through irritability and resentment towards the object or person that causes it; physically, it affects aspects such as heart rate, blood pressure and the increase in adrenaline and noradrenaline.

This term comes from the Latin “iracundia”, so it was used for the same purposes today. The indicated anger, by default, is a state of rage or that one is prone to experiencing anger. Generally, this attitude is considered as a negative sign of the make-up of an individual’s personality. This, when it is repressed as an intense emotion, becomes the feeling that predominates in behavior, cognitively and physiologically, with a defense mechanism against what may seem threatening from the outside world.

Formerly, anger was seen as one of the basic and primordial feelings of the human being. It was recommended that people control their outbursts of anger, so that living with their loved ones and close subjects would be much easier. However, it is known that repressed anger can negatively affect a person’s personality and behavior, so the preferred treatment is to let it out through activities that require rudeness.
