Flash memory

This flash memory is developed from the EEPROM memory allowing different and multiple memory positions, in a written or erased form by means of electrical impulses in the same programmed operation. The old ones only allowed writing and erasing in a single cell at a time. The flash works quickly making its quality superior in different points, allowing a reading and writing at the same time, of variety in its main characteristics.

Flash memories are not volatile, they can be used in small devices such as cameras that reproduce videos and also photographic ones, in mobile phones, their speed is higher than 30Mb of accessibility and it is low cost, they are not damaged, they are very resistant to the ravages of daily use, low power consumption and heat resistant. The types of flash memory are the NOR that are more expensive and reliable, the NANDs are of an impressive speed of greater storage, having at their disposal more bits at a time, but they are the least reliable due to their volatility.

The flash card or flash card memory is a type of peripheral that allows reading or writing to a removable flash memory, they can be external or installed in computers directly, they can be through a type of board or through the USB port, one of its variables is that it can read several types of cards such as those that are digital frames or DVDs, reading several types at the same time.
