Card


The word card comes from the French “tarte” diminutive of “targe” and was used in the fourteenth century, considered a large shield that covered much of the body. The cards have different types of uses, one of them is for presentation, which is a rectangle of cardboard where all the personal data of the individual who delivers it is recorded, so that whoever receives it makes it easier to contact him.

There we can find the name, private or professional address, title or position, email and telephone, we use this a lot at a professional level.

The cards are also used as invitations to meetings, parties or events and can also be sent to congratulate personal events such as birthdays, Christmas or New Year’s parties, there are also digital cards in these cases.

Credit cards are a plastic card with a magnetic strip, a microchip and a number embossed we used to buy without the need to carry cash.
